MSA Live with Dr. Yusef Salaam

Dr. Yusef Salaam was 15 years old when he, along with four other boys, was wrongly accused of a heinous crime in 1989. Together, they became known as the Central Park Five.

After spending nearly 7 years in prison, Dr. Salaam was fully exonerated in 2002 after DNA evidence and a confession from a lone criminal overturned the sentences of all five men, now known as the Exonerated Five. Today, Dr. Salaam inspires others by sharing his remarkable story of reclaiming life after truth.

Hear Dr. Salaam speak on Friday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Student Union.
Tickets soon to be available for purchase.

Doors open at 6:30.
Tickets $15 for UNC students and non-UNC students (online purchase available)
$20 at the door
