Muslim Students AssociationRides to Eid Prayer will be given from Duke University at 7:45am. There is no bus that leaves Chapel Hill before then, so those interested will need to find another ride to Duke in the morning. Duke is also hosting an Eid Brunch at Meditrra Grill from 10am-12pm on Friday. You must RSVP to Br. Abdullah Antelpli at a.antepli@duke.edu. to attend! Eid Mubarak!!

As the start of the school year is fast approaching, we have some announcements for you all:
1.Ramadan Iftar Sponsors Needed! > The MSA is looking for sponsors for its weekly iftars. Available dates are: August 24th, August 25th, August 26th, August 30th, Sept. 1st, and Sept. 2nd. Please contact Sana Khan at sakhan@email.unc.edu if you or your family is interested in helping!
2. Fast a Thon Sponsors> We are also looking for sponsors and donations for our annual Fast a Thon on Sept. 8th. Please contact Amna Baloch at amna.baloch@gmail.com if you or your family is interested in helping!
3. Triangle Health Fair- Volunteers Needed >Dedicated volunteers are needed to help plan the Annual Health Fair (www.trianglehealthfair.com). Please contact Zeshma Durrani at zeshma@gmail.com if you're interested in helping.
4. Duke Course: Religion 20S: Muhammad and the Prophecy > Duke University is offering a class fall semester entitled "Muhammad and the Prophecy." The class will depict a portrait of the Prophet's life in 7th century Arabia. UNC students can register for this course through inter-institutional enrollment. 5.Chapel Hill Islamic Society Masjid Fundraiser >The Chapel Hill Islamic Society is close to purchasing a property in Chapel Hill and is hosting a fundraising dinner on August 13th at 7:30 at Tandoor Banquet Hall in Durham, NC. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from Zeba Khan (zebathequeen@gmail.com) or Sanya Khan (sanyaahmedkhan@hotmail.com).
